Thread: Comments/Suggestions on my set-up

Hiya all,

I am rather new to this, and I have just recently managed to peice together some of the components for it. I have a few problems which im trying to sort out but then I should be done.

The main problem is that as soon as the laptop is charging, the screen starts to flicker. Even more so when the engine is running, and the screen flickers more when the mouse is moved.

I have made a diagram below of how everything is set-up.

I must say that 2 USB leads are on 5m extensions as well as the VGA lead. The monitor is powerd from the cars electronic system (via the egg), while the charger is plumbed straight from the battery
