Very interesting case, what are the dimensions of this case? And what size fans does it take?

No. There is no way anything bigger than a 2.5" drive will fit.

Question External Optical Drive using IDE?

I recently bought this case (from mp3car.com of course), I was really impressed with the quality of the whole thing, the metal is NOT thin or bendable at all, it should stand up to allot of abuse and looks great. The big question I have for people who DO have this case, how are you going to connect your DVD optical drive, I wanted to connect mine via the IDE connectors but there is not really an opening for the ide to come out of the case, I could get a slim external case and use the USB connections but that was not my original intent. Or maybe a rounded IDE cable and drill a hole?

It's best to use an external optical drive that connects via USB or firewire.

It seams that since it is Aluminum Extrusion. They could make the case longer and allow room for a slim line dvd. Another thought is get two cases and put them together (front to back) with roll pins. You could install quite a bit in it. i.e. Internal USB TV, USB Hub, Extend the PCI with a flex cable for a PCI card or two. The options are unlimited.

Is it just me or does this case look oddly similiar to a gutted inverter case? Anyone who has had to mod theres for SDC purposes probaly knows what I mean.
