No prob at all with heat, I live in Singapore, and as you probably know it's not exactly 'cool' out here, it was running for 4 days in a non aircon room continuosly playing the entire video collection on Centrafuse, and as as far as I can tell it never skipped a beat, and it aint that harsh in the car normally as the aircon is always on !

It had a MII-12000 / 1GB / 80GB:5400 & the Opus 120 and although it looks tight it really is not, there's still loads of room above the opus and the airflo from the CPU fan plus a single case fan is good. The Opus 120 provides enough comfortable power to supply the Touch Screen too, and looks to be more shallow than the opus board which it was designed to fit due to it using surface mount capacitors.

Anyway, it's a great case and the Aluminium Extrusion does a great job of getting rid of heat, and the quality of the finishing is superb.

My only comment is that if they provide countersink screws, then they should drill countersunk holes

    Crankshaft.

Oh, if anyone want's to do it too, then PM me, I could probably privide some dimensions for the hole positions for the standoffs, etc.

Ok. I got this case today and I like it. It's solid and not too big. I figured out where all the screws went except for the two brackets that were included. Where do I put those?
Also, has anyone painted this case? I was thinking about painting it black but I don't want it to look bad. I want it to look clean.

Does anybody have the dimensions for this case? Rough dimensions are good enough for now.

    Thanks!

I tapped my (LILLIPUT) +12v from a spare hole on the ATX connector on the OPUS 120 power supply and used the spare white wire included with the 8 pin MOLEX connector.

If you take a look at the images I posted above, I have identified the spare connector hole where the white molex wire connects to on the underside of the hole.

In the second image below of the end view, you can see the yellow wire which was spliced onto the white wire as it was not long enough to reach.

I think the brackets are used to mount a second hard drive ontop of the first one. I also changed the soft sponge shock absorber pads to small rubber feet & punched a hole through them which you can also see under the hard drive on the end view.

    Crankshaft.

I am confused about this J2 connector. Ziplock has the 2 wire plug from the Ampie case connector plugged into this J2. However, the M1 direction say J2 is for the amp remote, and Frankino here says the following:"NEVER wire your amp remote wires to the two pins on the M1, just use the positive one, if you need to groung it (some amps need it) place a fan or a resistor in serie to avoid short circuit. If you do not do it, short circuit WILL appen and WILL damage your M1 for sure (on mine the shutdown logis stopped to work after a bad amp wiring)".
    So what's the deal

Check my plan here: find out which one is for the amp remote (since Frankino states not to plug into both) EDIT: Must be the red wire?
Cut the wire that is NOT for the amp remote and run that to 5V. This way at the Ampie plug (outside the case) I'll have one connection for the amp remote and one connection for 5V. Am I on track here or

Weird, our company just recieved an order of 500 from them last week. We've ordered over 6000 thus far. They are the 90 Watt PS. We also use their 120 watt PS in some of out test applications.
