anyone?...Anyone?....Bueller?
I'm torn between the two motherboards right now. On one hand, the sp 1300 has a 1.3 ghz cpu, a newer chipset and a newer audio chip. On the other hand, although the mII 12000 is only a 1.2 ghz cpu, but is 40 bucks cheaper, and has a pcimca slot as well as cf. Does the 40 dollar price hike justify the difference between the mb's? and what is the difference between the different chips (northbridge, southbridge, and sound)?
Are there any other differences that I should be aware of?

I had the same thoughts about both these boards as well, but ended up buying the sp-13000 due to the new chipset. There is a review of it on www.epiacenter.com comparing it to the MII 12000, and it's multimedia benchmarks were better. I did like the CF and PCMCIA slots on the 12000, but I thought, "are these features that i'll actually use?" In my case,
probably not. The best price on the SP-13000 can be found on www.ewiz.com. that's where I bought mine, and it's waiting to be installed with 512Mb of GEIL value DDR400 RAM from newegg.
well thanks for the ewiz link, but it would appear that they dont carry it any more. how much did you end up paying there?
