Backup/Reverse Camera, looks like a good deal for $50

Anyone tried this camera? It has 120 degree FOV, and Night vision, and is also reversed and waterproof.

Lokks interseting to me. I am so far using a cheapo CMOS cam with a custom shell. This one looks like it is no too expensive and way better

This is most probably not a CCD camera, just another CMOS for that cheap. If it was CCD, the guy would mention it in the ad. You'll be disappointed with the image.

I am sure it is CMOS. But hey, at that price, wouldn't expect a CCD. A CCD will run yo an extra $100 or so. no?

I emailed the seller to ask if the camera is CCD or CMOS. He replied that it is a CMOS camera.

Surely the FOV is done through the lens. might be worth getting one of these and putting the lens on a similarly cased CCD that has a narrower FOV.

That is great - thanks! There isn't a really good review of any rear-view cameras on the forum.

Quick question. Is there a lense or something that I can put on the camera to reverse the image back to normal (in case I want to put somewhere else like in the front)?
