HI, I am trying to get a radeon 7000 to work with my carpc, but after it says "starting windows" both the carpc screen and a monitor (for testing) go black and the monitor says "input not supported"
any ideas?
I'm trying to get fullscreen in my fx, because right now through my nav-tv device it doesn't fill up the whole screen and I was hoping this pci vid card could do the trick...![]()

Input not supported = too high refresh rate.
so what should i do? it's the first time i'm popping it in, so i can't exactly change it...

thanks but then what???????
i go to safe mode and install the drivers, but when i restart it still says input not supported on my monitor. how can the refresh rate be too high for a regular lcd monitor?

Use different drives? Maybe go to the registry and edit the values. Or go get a refresh rate fixing tool.Originally Posted by contaygious
change the resolution to 640x480 in safe mode manually and see if this fixes your issue
also check here for latest drivers. the way i see it is if it comes up in safemode then it is definitely a software problem... either drivers or settings
