For some devices done use traditional co-ax connectors, they may use something called mini-BNC connectors(headphone jacks)
I am thinking of buying this product, does any one know if it has an input for an external antenna? In the pic it looks like it has one, i check some pics on other websites and it didn't have any. If it doesn't have a a input for an exteranl antenna, then can any one recomend a way?

Did you ever buy the WinTV-USB-FM? How do you like it?
I bought it but haven't installed it yet. I bought a honda s2000 and i am thinking of removing the complete system from my e46 and installing it in the honda
So you haven't tried it in a moving car?

I have one at home that I havnt used in a while.
It has external antenna for fm and tv. I worked great when I was using it and will soon be adding it in the carpc install Im preparing to do.
i have it in my car, radio works pretty good, made my own cable to connect it to the car antenna. The tv...well you will need a amp for the tv antenna. Optionally I recommend getting a fm amp also. Overall it does what it is suppose to do. I use it with RR. In a moving car the radio does work very good. I have a jensen tv amp and tv does work ok, some channels are watchable while moving. Also recommend getting the tv antenna outside the car, for better reception.

I think the confusion about the antenna's is because there are 2 versions, 1 with an fm radio (which I'm going to use for my CarPC, hope the receiption is good enough!!!) and one without an fm radio (which my father uses on his boat to watch TV) they are very cheap at the moment because they are not made anymore by hauppauge which I think is a shame because alternatives are scarse....
ps. I'm sorry for any misuse of the english language, it's because I'm Dutch...
