    Unhappy EPIA-800 x1G of RAM won't play DVD's - HELP

I've recently helped a friend of mine install a EPIA-800 with 1G of Kingston/133 and it will not play dvd's without clipping.

DVD player is a Panasonic CW-8124-B with the IDE adapter.
    Hard drive is a Maxtor 40G / 7200 RPM
Power supply is a Mini-Box M1-ATX (Same issue with a 300w ATX Power supply)

    Front end is Frodoplayer
    Windows media player is v10
    O.S. Windows XP SP2

Any more information needed please let me know, any and all information will help.
I do have a second issue if someone wants to give me a tip, the mouse will jump around the screen clicking all over the place at random. A reboot fixes this, but if someone has a tip I'd appreciate that too.

    Thanks in advance,
    Tim

Make sure that the IDE controller used (primary or secondary) is set to use DMA and to PIO transfer mode in the device manager:

Open Device Manager, browse to IDE controllers -> Primary/Secondary IDE channel, rightclick and choose props. Then choose the 'Adv. settings' tab and make sure it says 'DMA if available' as transfer mode.

Also, You might wanna check if it clips in all players - if it works in for example WinDVD/PowerDVD but not in MP10 then it's most likely a codec issue. Make sure You only have one audio codec and one video codec installed in order to minimize hazzle.

Do you have any suggestions of Codecs to use?
When it comes to doing them seperate... thats new to be. I'm assuming an AC3 codec for the audio right?
