    external hard drive overheating!

    anyone else have problems with their external HD over heating
    whenever it over heats the computer cant see the hard drive anymore
    i have to unplug it and allow it to cool

    Any more info? Is it in an enclosure? what brand? what size? How's it connected?

    running of USB power
