Of course, their cases look very nice so that's probably where "WOW" comes in.
The "WOW" will come in when you see them charge buckets full of cash for it, and some people will actually go and buy it...

You're guaranteed to shake your head and say "WOW"

Death threats? Oh stop teasing me. Don't get me all hot and ready if you're not serious. Please tell me what I did to bring death threats on myself so I can do it again and again and again until it leads to the final climax. If you're serious, let me know, I'll post directions and I'll unlock the front door and leave the light on.

almost forgot- just what exactly is the appeal of a fold out motorized screen? Compaired to something that's built into the dash I just can't see any advantage. I thought maybe it would be less likely to get stolen but I think it would actually be easier to rip a DIN chassis out of a dash with everything than it would be to rip out a built in screen with the computer in the trunk. The subject of this thread looks like a prime candidate for being stolen. It won't take long for the thieves to figure out the screen is folded up in the head unit. Does the subject of this post have any embedded secutiry?

I think it is badass, and instead of bashing it I think we can take alot from it. Looks like they might sell the boards separately, which they say are specially made for harsh automotive environments. Personally, the limited HDD space alone turns me away from it. I like the skins they use for their front end though, maybe someone with photoshop skills can make a similiar skin.

the HDD space can be resolved.
i took out the HDD and put in a 100GB one.
i must say they do pay attention to their construction. the DVD-ROM and HDD is mounted on a "suspension".
    fine piece of work really.

Are you in the U.S.? Where did you get it, and how much did it set you back?

Infill site says about $3500 for a sample. And yes, it seems that's in US dollars.

    dude, it never is...

having said that, the data element can always be added externally. shock buffering and transfer will be much easier that way.
