You're gonna have to be a bit more specific than that... what kind of car, and what model system? I have Bose in both my Maxima and my CLK, and while both have amps somewhere, I have to use 2 very different methods to get aux audio into them.
I think there is a factory amp somewhere. Any ideas

Sorry 2005 gmc seirra crew cab w/9 speaker setup. This truck has the factory option of a in dash dvd player. I am think the amp my have a audio in to accommodate. Not sure
Well one of your (not so cheap) options would be to go with the aux input adapter from pac-audio... I had to go that route for my Maxima to connect the PC to it and it wasn't cheap ($70 for the AAI-NIS). It basically gave me 2 RCA inputs to hook up directly to the head unit.Originally Posted by onehunghi
In your case, you would probably need a PAC AB-GM12 (a wiring harness to connect to the HU) and an AUX2CAR (2 RCA jacks that connect to that harness).
There might be cheaper options out there, but I'm sure somebody will chime in with them if that's the case...![]()
