    what was the first carputer?

I just dug an old car out of storage & it was my first carputer install & it got me to wondering how many other installs might have existed back then. what is the earliest carputer you know of?

oh yeah......I thought apple was macintosh...or at least it evolved into.....

Any other early installs............I thought we'd see more than these....
    Anyone know of any others?

well, apple makes macintosh. but not all apple products are macintosh... ie: ipod.

macintosh is just one of their trade names... kinda like toyota makes lexus and scion... but not all toyotas are lexuses.

i hadn't seen that plymouth setup before, but the hearse was the oldest one i've seen... and funny that - i first saw it on the mp3car forum back in the day. heh

how old is ziplock's mp3truck? i remember seeing that blue-gree VFD one-line display and being inspired to do more on my first carputer... but never got around to it. that was back before this forum existed, and the mp3car.com website consisted of a broken user gallery and a very primitive store. i still have some of the original black/blue/white mp3car.com bumper stickers! ahh... those were the days!
