    Laptop HD question

    Does the 44 pin connector from a laptop supply power to the 2.5 hd threw the 44 pin ribbon? Hope you understand my question

    Yes it does, a laptop drive doesn't have a separate power connector like the 3,5" drives do.

    Thank you I just bought a 1 ghz 3.5 SBC and it has 44 pin ide connector instead of 40. This should work out well with my 80 gb laptop hd
