Looking for 8 position interlocking connector (like on the Ampie case)

Hey guys, I have an Ampie case and a 12v AC adapter that I want to use when indoors. I was looking for a matching 8 position interlocking connector like the case uses so I could make an adapter from the DC plug to the case, but Radio Shack only has 2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 position connectors! Where the hell did they find these connectors?? And why don't people use easily available connectors??? I mean, the case doesn't even use all 8 pins to begin with so they could've just used a 6 position connector that is easily available from Radio Shack.

Anyways, anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I once made one similar for another project. What I used was a powersupply mobo connector and I cut the actual plastic connector in half. Worked great for my project.

okay, so I hooked everything up and it works great! i have the 12v from the AC adapter going to both the switched and 12v-in of the powersupply so I don't even need to open the case when I bring it in the house. makes things so much easier...
