USB Keyboard not working after hibernation

I have a zippy glow USB keyboard that only works if you plug it in while windows is booted up. It will not work after the computer goes into hibernation, restarts, and even the scan for new hardware in Device Manager comes up with nothing. Anyone know how to fix this problem, besides buying a new keyboard?

my zippy works just fine after hibernation - is it connected directly through the pc, or a powered hub, or an un-powered hub?

    Help with Zippy keyboard please

I just got my new Zippy and I have the same problem after shut down the keyboard will not work. It lights up but it is not recognized. If I unplug and plug back in it works fine. It is connected via a powered USB hub. The power comes from the PC power supply if that makes a difference. Is there a fix for this that any one can recommend.

BTW I had one of those VIK thin keyboards plugged into the exact same place and it always worked.

Same problem here, when clean booting (not hibernating - don't use this and don't have any info what it does on hibernation), Zippy keyboard won't work on bootup until it's plugged and unplugged.

Hub is powered (not self powered), and all other devices work fine, including other keyboards. The keyboard itself has power (can turn the light on/off), but won't work when I punch buttons on it.

    Suggestions?
