Agreed nothing special or ground breaking. I also work at a competing car pc related vendor site but I would still rather buy from this site or other vendors who have been supporting this niche market for years, especially when it's not much of a price difference.

I'm with you there. Unless the difference was substantial, I'd give my money to someone I know who supports the community.

also if you get bad service from someone high profile on here they are gonna loose sales so you are always gonna get the best service - not that these guys would want to give you bad service even if they didnt have that hanging over them.

We are lucky to have stores like the mp3car store, digitalww and linITX who take an active roll in the community. Some places do offer slightly cheaper stuff but they dont have the input and they dont listen to the users. These guys also take risks stocking the latest items and helping with the development of certian items like motorised screens or the FM radio.

I'm in the same boat. I even called mp3car.com to order the soundgate for my Honda. The guy that answered was LESS than helpful but it still makes no difference to me. So far with the exception of the soundgate I have ordered EVERYTHING through mp3car.com.

What type of soundgate adapter do you need?
