I'm trying to decide where to put my CarPC. it'd be cool to integrate it behind the lcd or somewhere in the dash, but it'd be much easier to simply keep it in my trunk. so the question becomes, how long is too long for vga and usb cables? will they work ok going all the way from the trunk to the lcd? this is an infiniti qx4 (decent sized suv).

Ive ran VGA and USB with no problems with my hearse, same with my old TV production van, put a couple of those ferrite cores you snap around wires from radioshack or somthing, that may clean up any loss with noise. Even then, go for it.
