    Opus question

Will the Opus 80w PSU w/ 5v and 12v outputs work without mobo?

    http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...products_id=96

basically, ive got a 150w for the puter, need power for my screens and USB hubs. Should i just buy a 5v reg. and a 12v reg?

    thanks

The vehicle point of load regulator seems like it only supplies 15 watts max and doing the math I don't think that it will supply my needs for voltage regulation. I am trying to regulate 12volt DC current for my two 7.2" headrest and one 5" sunvisor monitors as well as my 8" touch screen monitor. I figure I will need at least 4 AMPS to be safe. Does anyone know if Power Acoustik has built-in voltage regulation. I have tried to contact tech support through PA and the techie didn't seem to be making sense in his broken English. Of course I can't knock him, my Arabic sucks too. Language barriers.....................

I know someone who probably speaks arabic

Anyways, the 80w opus would work if you make it turn on when you want (shorting of pins I guess). But I think it would be easier with an m1-atx.
