I have incorporated a slimline Pioneer DVR drive into my Truckputer and when I connected the drive via the IDE to USB adapters, it fired up perfectly once power was supplied. So perfect in fact, I unexpectedly got full stereo sound and perfect playback of movies. I expected picture but did not necessarily expect sound to play without an audio cable connected to my MOBO. Maybe I'm being anal for asking, but should I connect the 4-wire audio cable to the mobo? It seems like sound is processing great but is there any advantage to running those 4 wires? Or should I just spend that time elsewhere like in the FABRICATION, which is lacking a wee mite?
