Guys,
I'm trying to put together a hardwired in-car video recording system for track and motorsport use. It won't be linked directly to the in car PC. I've got about 80% of the system mapped out but I'm missing one vital component and I hoped someone might have some idea of where I can find it.
Basically I have a video splitter/integration module that allows me to 'record' one primary image (forward view) with one secondary PIP image (picture in picture). What I want to be able to do is CHANGE the PIP image from a number of different cameras i.e. rear view for following cars, cockpit view of driver and/or pedal gearstick area, side view (overtaking etc).
So I'm looking for a device which has between say two and four video inputs and one video output that can be switched electronically by tapping on a momentary switch.
Has anyone seen anything like this, or could rig one up for a reasonable price?
Paul.
