Oh, and I wonder wha success the 915 chipset has in displaying 800x480 as opposed to the 855 chipset.

Ah, that would be because yours has the earlier, older 855 chipset, as opposed to the 915GM chipset in the one I listed.....many differences in the new chipset, one of which may (or may not, I'm not sure) be the graphics.

By "yours" I only meant the one you referred to, not that you actually owned it, or had it. Thats all.

Still trying to figure out what exact advantages the 915 chipset would give me, though.

And with a bit more searching, I found the users manual for the MB896, which natively supports 800x480 via a switch in BIOS!

Looks like I know what my carputer will be, now. Now, if I can just get the DigitalWheelz screen for my 2005 G35 to come out....he keeps saying December.....and I keep wanting December to get here!
