BoraXP/Motoko/EsKaLad,
No kidding.
I was looking for answers to install it into the car. If anyone has any input of ideas tha work best and so on.
we no your not kidding..thats why we are. there isnt only one person that can tell you everything. thats why you need to search the forums first. read the FAQ and stickys and take a look at completed projects. ill try to help out a little and do a shameless plug
you need a motherboard and processor. hard drive. memory and a nice dc to dc powersupply(check my signature) than you need a nice vga touchscreen. those are the basics of a carputer. than you can add stuff like wifi,gps,obd2,dvd and so on. but to get you started you need those i mentioned above.

EsKALad, Thanks. I am in the PC industry and I have the components mostly. I guess I need to word it as such. What/where would be best to mount the puter in the car as well as any input for the display. I do not want to lose my HU.
My best advice to you is read the FAQ, and look up "Show off your project" forum to see what/where/how other people install in their car.
If I remember it right, there is NO sonata installed yet, but some tiburons.
