    Can't wait for BND and arebelspy to see this. The stores will be emptied and we'll see a lot of these up for sale after the new year

    Seems like an annual thing now.
    I have found you an argument; I am not obliged to find you an understanding.

    And time. I actually got both my hacked XM units from other people - saves me from messing with soldering, etc. (one from BND and one from someone else - keeping one and selling one), plus I didn't have to mess with rebates.

    I would deffinately do this for you if I could. Unfortunately, XM will only do one rebate per household.

    However, I don't see why you can't order it online from Circuit City? I ordered online, and went to the store to pick it up. You should be able to have it shipped from the online store instead. As for the rebate, you just go to;

    http://www.xm.rebatestatus.com

    Print out the form "Listen Large & Save Big - $50 rebate", when you get your unit. You only need to cut out your UPC barcode, send a copy of the receipt or e-mail confirmation, fill in your XM radio ID, and fill out the form and send it all in.

    If there's something I'm missing, I can always order it for you online using your credit card info and pick it up at the store for you. You can still print out the rebate form online and send in when you get it.

    Edit: After reading the rebate form, it looks like you are right; the offer is only good in the US.

    "Mail-in rebate applies toward purchase of a Delphi XM MyFi, Pioneer Airware, Tao XM2go, Delphi SKYFi/SKYFi2, Audiovox XCS-9, Audiovox XR9, Polk XRt12, Terk XMDirect, Terk XM Commander and Dual XMP6000. Purchase must be made from 10/2/05 – 12/31/05. All mail-in rebate requests
    must be postmarked by 1/31/06, received by 2/10/06 and include the original UPC barcode cut from the XM Radio box, a copy of the purchase receipt indicating purchase of a Delphi XM MyFi, Pioneer Airware, Tao XM2go, Delphi SKYFi/SKYFi2, Audiovox XCS-9, Audiovox XR9, Polk XRt12, Terk
    XMDirect, Terk XM Commander and Dual XMP6000. Limit one (1) rebate per receiver purchase and maximum of three (3) rebates are allowed per household. Purchases made from Wal*Mart, Target, Sam’s Club, Costco, Staples and through XM’s Special Promotion Programs are not eligible
    for this mail-in rebate. Purchases made from XM’s kiosks, stores, or through XM’s website from 11/8/05 – 12/31/05 are not eligible for this mail-in rebate. Only purchases by an end-user consumer from an authorized XM Satellite Radio dealer or retailer (excluding those listed above) are
    eligible for this rebate. Offer valid in US only. This offer can not be combined with other offers from XM Satellite Radio. Please allow 8-10 weeks after claim is received by redemption center to receive your rebate. All rebates will be made in US dollars. XM Satellite Radio is not responsible for
    lost or misdirected mail or illegible entries. Fraudulent submissions of multiple requests could result in federal prosecution under the US Mail Fraud Statutes (19 USC, Section 1341 & 1342). Keep a copy of your rebate request form and receiver proof of purchase for future reference. Other fees
    and taxes may apply, including a one-time activation fee. Hardware and required service subscription sold separately. Use of Delphi XM SKYFi/SKYFi2 receiver requires a home kit, vehicle adapter kit, or audio system (i.e., Boombox). All fees and programming subject to change. XM service
    subscription subject to terms and conditions available at xmradio.com. XM service only available in 48 contiguous United States. ©2005 XM Satellite Radio Inc. XM2go, SKYFi/SKYFi2, XRt12 and XMDirect are trademarks of XM Satellite Radio Inc. All rights reserved."
