hello i know how to plug an mp3 player direct to an amplifer... but i heard the result wont be great.. anyone to explain me please?
Because the output on most mp3 players isn't a true line-out signal, and even if it is, it doesn't put out a lot of voltage, so you're going to have to crank the amplifiers all the way up to get much sound, which could make the amplifiers fail.
I am interested in a similar setup and was wondering if there is a line-out signal amplifier/booster. Something available that is a simple plug in device. I am looking into something similar to this setup and would hate to have to crank the amps for the mp3 and then switch to the headunit with the same settings
thanks.
ps sorry for bring back the dinosaur of a thread.
This is what I use to boost my XM output to my factory radio, and now my CarPC to my EQ. Works really well and hasn't had any problems.
