I am looking at purchasing a MSI KM4M-V mobo it is a VIA chipset and a Athlon XP-M 1800+ (AXMD1800FVQ3C). The Vcore on the cpu is 1.4 and the current is 25A and it is 35W. I am going to use an OPUS 150 to power this. I am wondering if these are going to be a good match for an automotive environment. Is there any advantage with the 1.4 volt cpu instead of the 1.45 or does that just mean it will run slightly cooler? I initally wanted an Nvidia chipset mobo but they are hard to find with 4 usb slots and SATA and 1 firewire would be nice too.
