    Powering Lilliput.

i just installed my lilli and i have it running of the AC adapter that goes into the wall, through an inverter. how safe is this setup? i want to hard wire it to my car, which is a e36 bmw m3. i was told to buy a 12v regulator, which i did from radio shack and i was also told to buy another ac adapter to dismantle. i am not sure how to wire the tv to my car wires with the 12v regulator. can anyone help me. here is the same car w/ohttp://bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=202727 the regulator to have an idea what i am working with. i basically dont want to fry my lilli which was a present from my gf. i dont think me frying the screen because diy will make her happy.

gives us more details on the 12v regulator you got from Radio Shack.

Not sure why you were told to get another ac adapter to take apart????

I have just wired my lilliput off a 12V regulator which is connected to the ACC power.

Not a good idea just using that regulator chip on it's own.

Hope you have at least put a decent heatsink on it.
