as long as you run them all at the same resolution you should be fine
For my carPC project I'm gonna use a EPIA VIA V800 mobo.
This board has 1-VGA and 1-TV-out.
The plan is to usa a 7" TFT touvhscreen in front and two 7" TFT in my headrest (for the kids)
Will this board handel this or do I need to use a PCI VGA videocard
as long as you run them all at the same resolution you should be fine
Causa latet vis est notissima
VIA SP13000
1GB DDR400
Slimline Slot-load DVD-RW
60GB 2.5 Inch SATA 5400RPM
Dual Active PCI riser
PCI TV/FM card
Logisys FP800
Thermaltake VFD Media Lab
M1-ATX
OkeThat means I don't need to use something like a Real Magic PCI card
How are you planning on hooking all of these monitors up to the board?Originally Posted by seninha
I recommend using a VGA Splitter. Hook the one VGA cable from the motherboard to the splitter, then connect the 3 monitors to it. And hook the USB cable from your one touchscreen monitor to the motherboard. It should work. For info on the splitter, check out http://www.xenarc.com/product/index-peripherals.html
Don't hold your farts in! They travel up your spine, into your brain, and that's where you get crappy ideas from!!!
Your right, in that scenario a VGA splitter isn't necessary. But, if you care to read the member's question again you might understand that there is no implication that he is solely referring to using the TV-Out. He is simply advising that he has 1 VGA, and 1 TV-Out. The member is also inquiring about using a separate VGA card to make this work. At this point, any recommendation is satisfactory.Originally Posted by DarquePervert
