What does this mean:
10.4" Samsung TFT VGA
Does it mean its a Plug and Play, you dont need a inverter and controller board?

Most likely means that it has a minimum of 640x480 pixels and that with the proper controller, will output a VGA image. I doubt that a controller is included. I don't see that one in the list today though.<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by Caviar:

no, i got that off the net just as an example.
what resolution do u need to play DVDs properly?
I have played DVD's on 640x480 at 256 color. they look ok....
They look a lot better at 16m colors
Your Standard TV displays 640x480 and slightly higher than 256 colors.
i guess for car purposes u are not really looking for the best quality......640x800 should be sufficient then.
Has anyone come across any wide screen displays ... i saw one on ebay but it was too expensive. These are amazing but i have had no luck with my emails from them.

If any1 knows Korean, can you read their web board and see how much these things go for.
TIA
If the screen says it's VGA, then it means it supports 640x480. If it says "analog VGA imput", then it doesn't need a controller card.
WOW check out this link, the prices are pretty reasonable
