    MB896F Motherboard Socket 479 & not 478?

The MB896F motherboard listed in MP3Car's Store at http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...roducts_id=163 says that it is a Socket 479 motherboard.

However, all of the Pentium processors that I am finding, such as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ubCategory=343, all say that they are Socket 478.

    What's up with that?

    Peoples,

The link I provided is for the Pentium M mobile processor. I did some more research and found that the 478 pin Pentium M will work with the socket 479 board.

I am seeing alot of Celeron M's and Pentium M's on ebay for 20 30 40 bucks some used but whatever I am just wondering if something is wrong with that. I also see some that are 300 bucks. I know about cache sizes but it doesn't seem to change the price some cheap ones have good size mb caches.
