I have the opportunity to purchase one of these cards for $35us. Do any of you guys use this card? I want to play dvd and divx on my 7inch redant display. How good are the drivers for resizing the tv out display?

I played with this card one.
I wanted to buy this from a friend.
But I got head-aches out off it.. Trying to figure out how to install.. Drivers won't work.. etc..etc...
Just my opinion.
Get a GeForce 2.. They're cheap, and easy to configure,
or some Ati AIW...

is this really a 16mb card? Did they make one? I have not been able to find any info on a 16mb car, only 32mb. maybe he posted the memory size wrong?

I used to work for Diamond in their gaming area. This card was great during its time, when it came out, not any more though. You will only be able to run WinME if you want the video outs. The card is a 32mb agp 4x.
I'd go for a gf2 seen as those are so cheap.
which card of the gf2 should i get? was calling around and i guess there are several different versions. I got a quote of $79us for a gf2. does that sound right?

just get a gf2mx 200 from a place like newegg.com. just make sure that it has tv out. shouldn't be much more than $50, and it will be faster than that diamond viper (still rather slow when it comes to modern 3d games).
