    Can a Voodoo2 run allone?

    Can a Voodoo2 pci card run a monitor alone or does it have to have another standard video card to acelerate?

    If you have something producing output to the voodoo 2 (like quake) then it cuts off the other video card.

    When there is no 3dfx being used, then only the other video card is working.

    So the answer is yes, but you will never know, because only certain programs run in 3-d obviously
