I have this problem with my motherboard.
i can only get mono *jack half in the socket* and stereo on one speaker with the jack full in the socket.

Now I have heard about some other motherboards that you can *program* other socket like the mic or AUX to act as the line out?

anyone familiar how to do this on a EPIA board?

:EDITkay some hardware contactspay made it work, but is still got a static sound on the line.. strange :EDIT:

SOLVED.. it was a setting at volumecontroll , there was a option s/pdif enabled. dont ask me how it got set like that but it now working!
