    Really???

You HAVE to have a switch installed - even if it didn't come with it?

Mabye my FM mod WAS working???

    ug.

I had my whole system installed on saturday...the power inverter was bad and the FM mod was killing my reception - what a day...

Anyways, if you can confirm that this was the reason I was losing my reception - then mabye my FM mod is good - it just need to be "turned off"...

    Thanks!

Confirmed! You have to have a switch installed. The signal that is sent to the head unit is strong enough to interfere with the rest of the stations. Just install a 12v switch and your set. I know most auto supply stores (Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc.) carry them too.

so, did you get this one too work finally, and how is the quality? I see a bunch of them on ebay still, and I'm wondering if they are good quality.

My offer still stands, if you want to buy my modulator I'll give you a better deal than on ebay. I am just looking to get rid of it being that I bought a head unit with aux in, and now the modulator is just sitting next to my desk on the floor waiting until I stop being so lazy and post it on ebay.

Actually, I got another one with a switch and had it installed - bottom line, FM mods are terrible...very muddy - no highs, no lows...

I went with (of all things) a Cassette adapter - sound is awesome!

It is an XO Vision RFM-60 Stereo Digital PLL modulator. I haven't checked ebay lately, but I'll give it to you for $5 less than their final prices

I just checked out ebay, and the same guy I bought mine from has a bunch more up. Here is the link
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1342345100

I'll give it to you for $32.00 and I'll cover shipping, assumming you are here in the US that is.
