    M10000 no life...

    Since I wasnt getting any response in my other thread, and I cant delete it since someone already posted a reply...

    Hey, I just bought an m10000 from another member here and I cant get it to do anything, so I wanted to see if there was something stupid I missed. I have it hooked to a regular home PC power supply and I cant get it to do anything. I plug the power supply in to the wall and the mouse lites up, the CPU fan tries to make about half a turn, and thats it. When I hit the power button, nothing at all happens...nada...its like the power button isnt telling it to turn on ( I tried 2 diff power buttons, and tried swapping the 6 and 8 pin wires too) i tried it without anything plugged into it, no ram, no HDD, no cdrom, and it wont do anything...is there some weird jumper I missed or something? Or do I have a dead mobo? Any help is appreciated

    As of 4/15/06: Computer is in and running great! Still got a few bugs to work out tho

    Have you tried it with RAM and HD installed?

    I've had occasions where a motherboard didn't want to boot up without RAM and HD installed. Although I've never tried it with my M10k.

    Just a thought.

    yup tried it with everything, tried it with nothing
