Question M-Audio Transit XP users. Does it support hibernation? What controls digital output?

I was wondering if the M-Audio Transit supports hibernation/standby in Windows XP.

Also, what is the optical out gain controlled by? The master slider, wave slider, or does it have another slider like spdif out?

If any Transit users can test that out for me, that would be great.

Thanks, are you using the XP drivers from Nov 2005?
Also does this soundcard use alot of CPU?

I can't run it in its most powerful setting (96 etc) but at a lower setting it works great and I haven't noticed alot of lag. I did have to turn up the latency.

As for the version I used whatever was on the disk, now you got me wondering if there is a newer version that will let me use the more powerful setting...
    checking....
Oh well yeah I have the most current...

Anyway I can tell you that the sound is great.

Next step is to get my dual action controller to work the audio settings.

Looks like a PS2 controller, logitec makes it.

I use it for Mario Kart!! but I just found out that I can set it up as hotkeys for RR. So now I can control the volumn/presets/mute/siriusVSmp3 from it when I am not playing a game. Sorry I didnt mean to hijack your thread, I was just happy I get to move forward.

Sucks, I just got a Transit today from my friend.
Downloaded the Nov 2005 WDM drivers and installed them.
Run it optical into my DSP and it makes digitally noises on clicks, and robs my CPU.

Also the master volume does nothing, so if you have a Keyboard or another volume control device, it won't work with it. You have to move the wave slider to control gain, boo...

Exchanging it for the Edirol UA-1EX, a newer model. Hopefully I will have more luck with it. If not, I will keep it and use it for my future mini-mac.
