Post Mini Keyboard!! Pics are UP!

Well, it is done and even better, IT WORKS!! It is very small and thin. Just to give you an idea (no laughing) it is built on a huggies baby wipes box. It was the perfect size. It now has an LED light that can be slid out of the case and bent upright into position over the keys, then slid back in when not in use. Now my passanger can use it at night. the buttons i got off old circuit boards from industrial liquidators. 50cents for 4 buttons. I then used transfer letters for the keys and coated with clear nail polish to protect them. The traces can easily be followed to tell you where to solder in each switch. If you would like, just ask and i will post the number connections for each key (It will save you lots of time!!!)

The keyboard used was a belkin, bottom of the line. I got it free at CompUSA with a rebate. Here are the key #congigs. I really dont know if these are standard config for all keyboards but if so, here it is. (i would recomend checking several...if not all before wiring the whole thing wrong ) I hope this helps!
