    Head unit and pc

I have an after market headunit with Front/Rear/Sub/Aux inputs. I would like to have my head unit and my carpc both sound functional. I want to use my headunit for radio purposes and for cds. But I also want to use my CarPC for navi, mp3 and that stuff. How would i go about hooking that up? Also, is it possible to hook up my car pc to my head unit via AUX and control the volume?

That is exactly how I have it. Connect your soundcard out to aux in.

Amplifiers? lol, you never mentioned anything about amplifiers. Connect the audio out on your carputer to your headunit's AUX input.

Did you read the FAQ article before posting - or are you asking about a different setup, not mentioned in it?

OK i have 2 amplifiers, 1 for my subs, 1 for my speakers. Rite now i have my amps connected straight to my Audigy 2 NX USB Front/Rear/Sub. I dont have my radio in yet. But when I put it in I want to have the ability to listen to the radio via HU and play cds via HU. SO to have my HU play through my amps as well what to I do? Do i have to connect my amps to both my headunit and my carpc soundcard? Baiscally put a spitter on each channel and run 1 cable to the carpc and the other to the HU for each channel?

I want to listen to my carpc for mp3's and navigation through my amps. And my HU connect to my amps and listen to the radio and CDs. Is this possible?

I would say run everything through your head unit and have it control the main volume.

I'm not sure if it's possible the other way around.

put your amps to the proper outputs on the headunit

put your computer to the aux input on the headunit

then, you can just switch between aux in, radio, or cd player via the headunit. The headunits volume control will also be the main volume for everything. I have my Carpc set to max, and just lower it at the headunit.
