    Motherboard MB896 Hibernate problems

I am resuming from hibernate for startup but everytime it resumes the music will skip about 5 seconds and then everything returns to normal. I am not quite sure why it does this. Anyone ever have these problems on other hardware?

    MB896
    1.73 pentium M 2mb cache
    512 ddr2 533mhz
7200 rpm sata 80gb hard drive(I tried multiple drives same problem)

My old install that was trunk mounted never had the skipping problem so I am really frustrated at this point with my new setup.

Do you have the lastest version of the audio drivers? The version that comes on the CD in the box is buggy.

    I just got the mainboard.

Nlited my XP installed it and did the tests.

No problem with hib what so every.

It's a killer board. From first klik on power switch to complete xp startup in 5 seconds

    I use sleep to disk.

As i said. Turn on power, beep. Then 1....2....3...4...5 seconds theres my responding XP
This is from sleep (to disk) to power on. (My touchscreen takes 4 seconds to come out of the dashboard so it's almost fast enough. But i guess this is the max)

Not going true the trouble of making video if you don't believe it.
You'll have to see for yourself.

First trick is to make your bios pass *** quick as posible.

I have sata, so normal ide is of. Com en LPT is turned off.
NIC is turned off (i have mini-pci wifi in it so dont need it either)
Turn on onboard video first option. Is just a few ms i guess but every second counts.

Second trick: SATA 7200 rpm seagate 2.5 inch hdd. Its fast.

    And last but not least:
I Strip XP Pro down as far as i can.

I tested this StripDown with Centrafuse, Poco, RoadRunner IGuidance Freedrive Widcomm 5.1.1400 etc. Actually every program i use in car works great. Network provisioning also works.

Only thing i need i'm going to do right now is to strip Internet Explorer.
Because my XP was using much less MB RAM with when i stripped it out and used FireFox.

I Have attached my Nlite ini file

    Exclamation

I have a Motorola V3, no video recording
I will see if my normal photo camera makes a nice movie.

But i now have a different problem to deal with before i can.
I Just put everything in my carpc case and installed it back in my car again, but it gives no lifesign. The M1 power supply doesn't seem to give the right / good power on signal to the mainboard.

I will attach my new nlite ini file.

It has IE and IE core stripped out and i fixed a problem with the DTC with i removed in the previous ini file.

I have some new timings from bootup from sleep.
It now takes 6 / 7 seconds to go from beep to fully functional frontend.
    That is with

    RoadRunner playing music
PhoneControl started in memory (Not connected because it takes about 10 seconds to get aware of the resume procedure.)
    IGuidance running
IGMod running - IGuidance extra feature support
XPort running - GPS on more com port software
    Bluetooth drives 5.1.2800 installed
    Griffin Powermate software installed.
Mozilla loaded in memory / roadrunner

It takes about 200Mb of memory.
I think the MB896 rocks with these resume speeds with the sleep to harddisk on.
