Sound Blaster AUdigy 2 NX Problem

Hey guys whats up, I was just wondering if any you guys are experiencing the same problem I am. with my NX when I am playing music it seems to skip or make a little noise every so often. It skips for like a half a second and does it a couple times and then stops. IS there any way to fix this? I updated the software and iit still didnt fix it.....

I had a problem like that, had it solved by powering the NX with his own PSU.
There just wasn't enough in my opus120 to power this aswell.
After that I never heard a single noise again.

To find out, just power the NX at home with his original psu, instead of the one in your car.

Ahhh, I see I have it powered with my opus120, what did you power it with? A POL 15w?

I used an ITPS from my previous install, and a friend of mine made some psu for that. I'll guess any regulated psu from about 15W will do.

Hey, got a question for you folks....are you satisfied with the volume from your audigy's? Im thinking about buying one and want to know if it gets loud enough for a convertible? I've got a 1200 watt amp after the soundcard and the sound from my epia is plenty loud, but I want the optical input from the audigy.

    What do y'all think?

red, test it outside of your car as well, as well as the wires you are using... and even the sub you are using, no point in getting a new card if that one works

Oh yea! as for Centre and Sub output's it take's time but you will get them to work, if you play a 5.1 movie they will work, but if you want them to work for mp3's you have to use simulated setting's to get all channels on. if it's not working from there re-install drivers cause you might screwed up something trying to fix it.
