Post $150 6" LCD power

If I wanted to power my $150 6" LCD from eio.com in my car, all I would have to do is plug into my cars cigarete lighter, right?

    Thanks

Only if you want to experience the possibility of interference or to eventually fry it. use a power take-off from your p/s to power it. the p/s supplies regulated 12 volt, not so the cigarette lighter. The cigarette lighter voltage varies from 10-14.5 volts output, and it's power output really carries a lot of electrical interference. The screen probably has an onboard regulator, but it's better to be safe than sorry, and practice redundancy in your setup.
