    pioneer aux again

    Hi
Searching the board i found out that Mastero sells pioneer aux adapters. I guess these units are made just like in this thread:
pioneer aux in help (which one of the two meantioned will work?)
Looking around to find a photo of the inside of a cd-rb 20 to see if it was really that simple, i found this http://members.lycos.co.uk/cdrb20/
That looks more like a 60$ unit to me, but will the much simpler circuit do the same trick? just wondering if the difference will be worth the extra bucks.
Could anyone clear this out, maybe analyzing the circuit?

    Best regards cvi

BTW - the 2'nd url - better download that for achiving if you need it - unavailable at times - Pioneer might even wanna shut it down at some time.

The CD-RB20 is a little bit different to the CD-RB10. the 10 just allows for aux input, whereas the 20 allows for aux input as well as a pass through for another IP Bus device (eg a stacker) That would be why the schematic that you saw for the CD-RB20 was very complex. But from what I have read, just wireing your RCA's up to the pins as shown in those diagrams works great. Im yet to try it as i havn't complete my player.

    Good luck
