Via Epia P4 Itx M/b Boot Spped / Hibernate

    VIA EPIA P4 ITX M/B

What kind of boot times do people get from that board. More importantly the hibernate resume time. I see that it does ata 133 and it seems my foxconn had the same spec and resumes in 10 seconds.

Can someone post a video or give me some numbers thank you

wow.. is it me or that board seems really good?...

I hate the fact that it's a Pentium but hey, I'd love a board like that.. if you get it, let us know how it performs

it has been covered by like 1000 times. resume from hybernation time does not depend on CPU/motherboard speed that much (except ATA spec) but on hard drive parameters and amount of RAM installed instead.
same for boot time. it depends on OS, OS settings, drivers installed, BIOS settings, its incredibly affected by (in)correct firmware implementations of attached HDD and ODD drives...
    this is worthless thread.

Dude don't talk about what you don't know. Look at my car thread I have a 10s boot video. It very much so depends on the board and cpu. There aren't any tweaks other then /maxmem= to change any hibernate resume times. A crappy bios like all the ibase boards will give you a crappy boot period. So I would like to know about this one and if someone had a camera phone or camera to snap a clip of it real quick thats it.
