In summary, Apply just released an official boot-loader for Intel-Macs, which will run Win XP natively. Great for Mac Mini's in cars.

Cool... so how does this perform compared with an Aopen Pandora with 512mb ram, Pentium M 1.73?

I'm interested in this for media use... can anyone comment? I assume the intel-mac-mini is already the one shipping, right?

WTF... this really isnt mac-specific...all that segregation thing that scouse was talking about isnt really started by the Mac-users, but by NON-mac-users...

Jeez... fine... so close this thread since we cant have a thread with the word MAC in it outside the mac forum....

When I read this story from BBC, I was like, "Wow... they have finally done it."
I have used Macs forever because the schools around here by them in bulk or something and they are crappier than crap (if that is possible). I have used G4's powerbooks everything. I completely hate OSX I don't really know why. Maybe a mac abused me as a child or something, but I like transparent windows, I like cool animations, but I absolutely hate OSX! The thing about macs are that they look stylish. Something you want to put in your living room, and not in a desk cubby. I built my own PC like everyone else here and I like it, but realistically, we are a small majority of computer buyers. Imagine a non geeky person walking into a store and seeing a shiny mac or a black box of a PC with seperate monitor and lots of cables and loud. Shiny wins everytime except for the OSX thing. People use Windows and mostly Microsoft apps. They need them! Also mac battery on laptop is much better than anything else. Also their screens are awesomely bright for cost. And finally noise. My Acer sounds like a jet when its hot. Macs don't even have fans!!!! So to put a hasty end on my rant, I hate OSX, but have recently turned into a pro-Mac running Windows kinda guy. I think many will follow, and many more will burn my house down...
