Need help urgently, 12" lcd,DVD headunit VGA-RCA

I have a carputer in my car, the motherboard the PSU and other bits and bobs are in the boot of my car, I have a 12" lcd screen in my dashboard which is connected to my computer by the standard 15 pin VGA cable, now I have bought a dvd headunit and want to connect my headunit to my screen, the headunit has video out cables of the RCA type. is it possible? if so how can I do it?

Your dvd head unit SHOULD have some type of video input. I should be rca or s-video. To output video on the computer to the dvd headunit you would have to have a video card with rca or s-video out and run extended monitor. That should work

Edit: Just re-read the post...for video in from headunit to monitor you would have to have rca or s-vid input on your monitor. If not, i think your out of luck, I dont think a rca-vga converter exist...

of course it is possible. a quick ebay search turned this up. im sure they can be found for less.
