Question V-Gear MobiDTV - Anyone tried it in car?

Saw this USB DTV thing for mobile digital terrestrial tv. Anyone tried it?

I'm guessing the little antenna included would give pretty poor reception, but maybe there's something fancy going on to make it work.

If it is digital it shouldn't need extreamly good reception, or did I miss something? I don't think there is such thing as digital terrestrial TV signals; perhaps in Auzie land, but certainly not in North America. At least not yet, which is too bad cause I want more than the four channels I get in my area.

I live in North Carolina and I pick up 6 hd channels broadcast terresterially as well as 4-5 other digital channels (just mirrors of the ones I pickup with my analog card) using 3 different hd cards under linux. Check out www.antennaweb.org to determine what's available in your area. One problem with HD, or SD digital reception is that you need a pretty good antenna (or directional antenna pointed right at the source).
