Yah, the Extigy made a huge difference on my ARM-PC (mini book size). I only used the computer for GPS and data logging before. Now I use it more for MP3s than I use my CD Player.
I just got a Telex USB audio off ebay. I have an FV24, and as most people stated, the onboard sound isn't great. The telex usb adapter is incredible... crystal clear sound. This thing outputs the highest quality sound I have ever gotten from a computer (granted I've never spent much money on soundcards). I bet the onkyo se-u55 and soundblaster extigy etc. must be incredible.
Still setting it all up:

Man, that's a nice garage floor! and some sweet cars to go along with it. What's up with the automatic corvette though?

Automatics rock for drag racing. Wait until I pick up the car today with the new motor and bust out a low 11 in the 1/4 on motor! ;-)
A properly built automatic with a good stall converter will eat a manual straight line everytime.

I have the Xitel USB sound card (even tho the manufacture doesn't state that its a sound card) with my ARM-PC and its great. Just for kicks I took it to a friends house who is an audiophile and hooked it up to his computer and Klispch speakers. He have a Sound Blaster Live Platinum edition or something like that sound card in a blind test (ie he didn't see what I hooked up) and said they both are really close in sound quailty he could tell the difference, but he said they were so close that if he wasn't actively trying to hear differences he wouldn't know which was which.

Which one do you have, I've been thinking about one, and for starting at $40, they shouldn't hurt my budget.Originally posted by Awol][

Total re-design underway: on the whole progress is very slow as the car is taking up too much time :)
for what its worth i'm using the Xitel MD-AN1, made for transfering music to a mini disc. Works great in the car.
Xitel makes and USB to Optical interface to, eh?
