I am now compared different choices...I don't want any home-made system (because I am too lazy and bad doing any that) but nice pc in a nice box. This one looks very interesting.
Latte P4
Latte PC seems to be quite nice and feed my needs. Does anybody has that pc on a car? Is there any problems on that machine?

LMFAO no i think you have to sue WMF they made the thing....
As for the pc it looks like a good straightforward unit however how are you running power? What is the DC power requirment? That may be an issue. On the other hand it has convienent video out for cheap LCD alternatives.
If you install it let me know how it goes.

Didnt think of that power pack but with that set up sounds like it could be a great idea. Out of curiosity, I couldnt find a price, how much would a unit like that cost, the barebone.

Hmm I have in mind one store which sells this computer on complete suite added with dual dc/dc adapter that suits for this pc. So power is not an issue.
That barebone costs about 350€. Is that too much about that kind of barebone?
Definitely I will show my project for you all when I finally get started!! We have two different cars/projects where we are going to install almost duplicate carputer systems.
That CNX-P1900 adapter seems quite nice. I am not sure is there startup/suhtdown controller on the other one adapter what I have been thinking so that CNX-P1900 is maybe better choice...let's see.
hmm 350€. thats about $445.45 right? For a system that size, thats not too bad for a barebone...
