    Question Data recovery software

    Hi everyone!

My hard drive has sabotaged by the attack of a virus (win32). I format the windows and lost all of my data.  Can I bring that data back by any protocol (data recovery software) if so then please recommend me any reliable software that could help me!!!

If you did a QUICK format, you may be able to recover data. Thake it to a data recovery specialist. They actually use more hardware tools than they do software tools to recover data.

If you did a full format, you may be ****ed.

Either way, if you want the data off the drive, get it the hell out of the computer immediately, if not sooner.

And for future reference: Back up your data BEFORE you reload Windows.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Yep...He's right. You could have gotten you data off before you reformatted and reloaded. Some easy ways are to load a linux live cd such as Knoppix, Puppy or Meppis. Some of those will actually kill a windows virus. Also, if you are running a laptop HD and don't have a desktop to laptop ide adapter it would be a good thing to pick one up. That is the fastest way to transfer large amounts of data. It is very easy to add it to a tower desktop to do backups, file transfers, data recovery ect...

    Just my 2 cents.

I recommend EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard. It has three recovery mode "Advanced Recovery", "Formatted Recovery", "Deleted Recovery". You can choose whichever base on your situation. You can download the demo version to try first.
