was your computer running when you were trying to power the screen?
turn off computer...
unplug supply....
hook up 12v to screen (from HD power cord)...
plug in supply....
turn on computer...
screen should turn on...
if you just use the switch on the back of the power supply without powering up the computer...you wont get any voltage through the power cables. your motherboard has to tell the supply that it should turn on.
if this supply is not hooked up to a motherboard, all you have to do is hook up the screen to the 12v wire, plug in the supply, flip the power switch in the back and then... use a wire to connect the green wire and a black ground wire....THIS IS FOR AN ATX SUPPLY!!!!!!!

So, for the whole day I was trying to run 12V LCD of 5V and for some strange reason it did not work
I got it now... One of the problems was that LCD power input is red - +12V and black - ground. I hooked up red to red, black to black and........ it did not wrk
