Hi everyone,
I'm a long time reader, first time poster to the boardI came across a few installs and i am going to add a computer to my setup in the next few months. Now, on some of the installs, i saw din sized display units displaying what mp3 was playing and etc. from the computer. I was wondering how this is made possible? Can i purchase a unit like this? or do i have to construct it? Here's an image of one:

i love the inversed LCD!!
i want one!
Arby, nice job with the buttons dude
In short, no you can't buy it premade. You need to buy a 4X40 LCD, solder the parallel cable to it, and then pick up some polarized film and inverse it to get it to look like that.
Yup, and Arby and I are using the Lorty plugin...
